New photos revealing a prototype Ford F150 Raptor has been leaked, and these images show the pickup in its true form without the camouflaged exterior. The vehicle was initially unveiled during the Detroit Motor Show Last year, though a release date has yet to be announced.

At the auto exhibit, the Raptor was shown in a SuperCab form with two doors, though the new photos reveal the four-door SuperCrew cab. Also evident is the fact that the exterior is getting back its signature front fascia with the Ford logo gracing the all-black grille and replacing the traditional F150 nose on the existing models. The bumper has also been redesigned and given a slatted hood with a steeper angle.

It has also been confirmed that the Raptor will come with a 5.5-foot cargo box. Other confirmed specs include modified springs, larger Fox shocks, and second generation BFGoodrich Ko2 tires.

As for the engine? Below the hood lies a 3.5-liter V6 mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. It will deliver 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque. The engine is supposedly an improvement over the previous 6.2-liter V8. To improve off-road performance, new terrain management technology has also been added.

No photos or information has been released for the interior.

No more is known at this point, but off-road pickup enthusiasts will certainly relish at what the Raptor offers both in terms of outer appearance and performance.
