The 2015 Ford Edge Titanium could easily pass as a mid-size luxury SUV despite having the price tag of a mass-market automobile. The Edge has long been compared to its better known cousin, the compact Ford Escape, though the former is notable for being 10-inches longer and having more passenger space.
With the 2015 model, consumers will have three engine options to select from: a 245-hp 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder, a 280-hp 3.5L, or 315-hp 2.7L turbo. All three engine types will be available for both all-wheel and front-wheel drive models.
The 2015 Ford Edge model’s interior technological features, though, is what really makes it feel like the driver is behind the wheel of a luxury automobile. Some of the gizmos include Bluetooth audio and phone capability, cooled and heated front seats, cross traffic and blind spot alerts, and voice recognition.
The 2015 Ford Edge also offers a roomy interior for the driver and front and rear passengers. Cargo space is quite generous as well with multiple cubbies located in the front seats. This includes a tow-tier bin and an iPod drawer complete with USB port. Additional storage includes a map pocket, a sunglasses holder, and 110v and 12v outlets positioned in the rear.
To top it off, buyers will have the option of opting for a sun roof that encompasses the entire passenger compartment.
