The Specialty Equipment Market Association show is where you check out some of the craziest concept vehicles. Most of these, of course, never go into mass production, but they’re nevertheless fun to look at and admire.

In collaboration with BDS Suspension, Ford automakers released what is being dubbed Project SD126. This is essentially a beefed up 2017 Ford F-250 with aftermarket parts from BDS suspension. This includes a set of gigantic 44-inch BFGoodrich Baja KR tires and eye-catching orange exterior paint.

BDS Suspension specializes in off-road suspension and all-wheel upgrades. For Project SD126, the company added JE Reel front and rear drive shafts, Pac Racing coil springs and sway bars, rear trailing arm conversion, and BDS front four-link conversion.

Under the hood, the standard 2017 Ford F-250 sports a Ford PowerStroke 6.7-liter V-8 engine that delivers 440 hp and 925 lb-ft of torque. BDS Suspension, though, added some modifications consisting of a Diamond Eye exhaust system, an EZ-LYNK engine management programmer, and an S&B cold-air intake.

The interior got a bit of a rework as well. This includes a new audio system by sound systems company Kicker. Also included is a Magellan eXplorist TRX7 navigation system for ensuring drivers always find their destination.
