The 2016 SEMA show just concluded, and the Ford brand walked away a sure winner. The Ford F-series was named the Hottest Truck, while the Ford Focus and Ford Mustang were named the Hottest Hatch and Hottest Coupe respectively.

For the Ford F-series, this is the sixth time it won a SEMA award. It’s the second for the Ford Focus, and the fifth for the Ford Mustang.

This is a huge accomplishment for the brand; this is the only second time that an auto manufacturer won all three awards at SEMA. That took place at last year’s show in 2015.

The brand displayed over 50 vehicles at the show. It even hosted the Ford Out Front during the festivities. This was a massive party held at the parking lot of the venue and included some demonstration track racing from professional drivers.

One of the vehicles on display was a 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR Twin Turbo, with an engine that delivers over 1400 horsepower. Another model was a Ford Mustang GT modified by the SpeedKore Performance Group. This model delivers 825 horsepower thanks to an installed supercharger that adds additional juice to the 5.0-liter V8 engine.

Another vehicle on display was the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor modified with a Gibson cat-back exhaust and a cold air intake by K&N. It retained the stock 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. It also got a new suspension from Foutz Motorsports. The suspension helps accommodate the massive 40-inch tires.

It wasn’t by mere luck that the Ford brand made an impact at the SEMA show. Models like the 2017 Ford Mustang and Ford Focus provide plenty for consumers like yourself to look at when considering your next vehicle.
