The 2016 Ford Fusion Energi also achieved top ratings, netting a five-star score of its own for both side and front crash tests and four stars for rollover crashes.
The new Fusion model is fitted with a range of safety features, including dual front airbags, side airbags, and knee airbags on the driver and front passenger seating area. Electronic stability control as well as a rearview camera are also included for preventing collisions and minor fender benders.
