- Towing Capacity: The towing capacity of your Ford truck is the amount of weight it is able to tow while pulling a trailer. The 2021 Ford F-150 has a Best-in-Class maximum towing capacity of 14,000 pounds with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine.
- Payload: This number refers to the maximum amount of weight your truck can handle in its cargo area plus its curb weight, which is the weight of the vehicle without passengers or items within. The maximum payload capacity of the Ford F-150 is 3,250 pounds.
- Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR): When you add the weight of your truck, a fully loaded trailer, passengers, and any cargo, you get the GCWR.
