The app has been out for some time now, and Ford has just announced that the app will be made available for smartwatches and for use exclusively for the Ford Fusion Hybrid and C-Max hybrid and Plug-in models.

It also provides the remaining range of the electric vehicle when on the road. The app also basically turns your wearable gadget into a key by allowing you to lock and unlock your car from a distance. In addition, it will also provide you with a sleuth of other information, such as a trip summary overview and mileage summary.

Are you one of those people who typically forget where they parked? Not to worry any longer; using the integrated Google Maps, the app will reveal the location of your parked vehicle. Also included is a personal driving score that let’s you know how well you are driving. Gently pressing on the brakes as opposed to slamming on it, for instance, is one of the many factors that will up your score.
